About Me

My name is Cody Arms and I am a recent graduate of  Western Carolina University with a  B.S.B.A. in Sport Management and a B.S. in Communication with a concentration in broadcasting. With these degrees and my prior experience in the field I want to go into the sports world and either manage a professional basketball team, or a minor league baseball team. It has taken blood, sweat and tears to make it to this point in life.

My skill set is very different from many people in my job market as I have literally done anything and everything you could think of in the field of  sport management from a beginners stand point. The skills I posses that impact my work come from within. I am compassionate, confident, and experienced. Many organizations look to hire people who have experience. With my knowledge I have gained in the classrooms of Western Carolina University and the experience I have had working with the Asheville Tourist and Post 170 baseball I feel as if I would be a hand in glove fit with any company that seeks a professional young individual.

A quote that I live by that my grandfather who is no longer with us bestowed upon me is

“If you do not like how things are, change it! You are not a tree.”

Words that describe my skill set : Compassionate, Confident, Efficient
